Job description:
The International Schools Hilversum and Laren are looking for an Educational or Clinical psychologist who can assess students with special needs concerns. This person has a BIG registration and a proven track record of working with young people from diverse
cultural backgrounds. They will collaborate closely with the Alberdingk Thijm Scholen – Nyuens Institute as well as the school’s in-house inclusion team.
You will be tasked with meeting parents and students referred for assessment, conducting tests and supporting the school, the student and the parents in interpreting the test results. The successful candidate will have the necessary professionalism, ethics
and empathy in supporting parents and students in this process. If you are bilingual and also able to do assessments in Dutch it could mean that the scope of the position might become wider to include more days in the future.
 
We are looking for a colleague meeting the following criteria:

  • A qualification as Clinical or Educational psychologist;
  • Qualified to do psychological assessments
  • BIG registration essential;
  • Excellent command of English, writing and speaking;
  • Both happy and able to work in a team;
  • Ability to work with students of all age groups;

Education and other:
Dutch passport or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands
A “Verklaring van goed gedrag”(VOG) will be required upon appointment.
